Where I Begin

I’m a (trans) woman, an artist, and a musician. I’ve always been drawn to both the wide arcs and fine textures of human experience.

This space is for the questions I’ve spent my life brushing up against: How do we live meaningfully in the midst of opposing narratives? How do we honor others while claiming the space we need for ourselves? When do we step back—and when do we step forward?

I’m not a journalist, or an expert in the topics I write about. I’m just another curious, biased mind—trying to understand, and never quite succeeding.

This site exists on the edge of that uncertainty—a deeply personal vantage point from someone who cares about her place in the world and keeps writing, even when no one’s listening.

If you decide to follow along, I make no promises we’ll always resonate. But I’ll do my best to be honest, and to hold space for the possibility that I’m wrong.
